We were so proud to hear of the achievements of two Avontuur-bred horses at last night’s Highveld Racing Association Feature Season Awards when Rivarine walked off with the trophy as the 2 yo colt/gelding champion and multiple winner and crowd favourite Legal Eagle was awarded Champion Older Horse and Champion Middle Distance Horse at the same event.
It’s a wonderful reward for all the hard work done by owners, trainers and jockeys and obviously those ultimate athletes themselves, Rivarine and Legal Eagle. We look forward to further excitement as the year progresses.
