Although the straight-forward enjoyment of Avontuur Estate’s award-winning wines will always be top of the list at this family-owned wine and stud farm, the team in the tasting room love to spice up the experience by offering a different wine & taste sensation monthly.
With Summer now in full swing, we’re cooling down with our “Sweet Treats” tasting featuring nougat, Turkish delight and fudge paired with four ice cold wines, including the MCC Brut.
The pairing is self-guided with assistance from our tasting room staff, and costs R60 pp. The duration is around 30 minutes and its huge fun to do with other wine loving friends to compare your favourites– and not-so-favourites.
Bookings are not needed for individuals and small groups, but for 6+ guests it’s recommended that you book beforehand to ensure the smooth running of the tasting.
