The 5 year old son of Oratorio, Moonwalk in Paris, came from the rear of the pack in a nail-biting finish to take first place in the Gr 3 Firebreak Stakes at Meydan yesterday!
According to jocky Ahmed Ajebti he and trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni had a discussion beforehand about how to run the race and both of them were very impressed with the horse’s performance. “Moonwalk in Paris has some gears when he gets going – he’s unbelievable!” he said.
Moonwalk in Paris has had a good 12 months with a win in the Gr 3 Prix Edmond Blanc at St Cloud last April and 3 places in further Gr3’s since then.
With excitement at Avontuur Estate now at fever pitch about the imminent arrival at the farm of his sire, Oratorio, we can only salute his offspring all over the world, who are adding to his unblemished record daily.
