Wondering where to go for burgers, lazy country-style lunches and excellent seafood? Look no further! The Western Cape’s top casual restaurants for 2018 have been announced at the Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Best Everyday Eateries, which took place in Cape Town on 18 October.
After a year-long voting period and adjudication process, the top eateries in each category were determined by public ratings received via the Eat Out app and website, in conjunction with scoring from professional Eat Out critics. Co- owners and chefs of the Avontuur Estate Restaurant, Melanie Paltoglou and Zunia Boucher-Myers were delighted to be voted the winners in the ‘Bistro’ category. Proving that sixteen years of hard work and dedication eventually pay off!
