We’re happy to announce that musician Guy Feldman has been booked to entertain us at the second live music sundowners event on the terrace at Avontuur on Friday, 5 July from 16h30-20h00 (weather permitting).
Guy is a versatile singer-guitarist and loves 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock, folk, blues, country and jazz. Be prepared for a little bit of Sting, a bit of Eric Clapton and some Mark Knopffler thrown into the mix. All in all a laid-back afternoon’s music is promised.
After last month’s first-ever live music event, which was hugely popular, we were asked to start a little bit later so as to accommodate the post-work crowd and that is what we’ve done with kick-off at 4.30 instead of 3 pm.
The Avontuur Restaurant is coming to the party again with a home-made soup, some substantial snacks and a few extra surprises on the terrace menu, just for the day.
Bookings not essential, but come early to secure seating for a big group. We hope to set up on the terrace (albeit under the Bedouin tent with gas heaters and throws galore), but it can get chilly, so dress warmly.
