With the stats for “Leading sires of Europe 2012” just out, we’re proud to announce that Oratorio, Avontuur’s new stallion who will stand at the farm from end-January 2013, is in 3rd place on this prestigious list, issued by Hyperion.
As Avontuur GM Pippa Mickleburgh says proudly; “He’s on the list after global star performers like Oasis Dream (Val de Ra is in foal to him) and Galileo. What an incredible horse to bring to South Africa!”
With the lists for “Leading Sire by Prize Money” also out and Oratorio featuring in 12th spot there with 260 runners and 213 wins, we’re even more excited by the prospect of bringing him to this country.
2013 will truly be the “year of Oratorio” at Avontuur!
