Not only were the thousands of visitors treated to a race to remember with Anthony Delpech & Rumya showing the opposition a clean pair of heels, prompting trainer Mike de Kock to say that he’s been waiting for this moment for years – but the weather played along perfectly too!
The Intercontinental Village created an ongoing vibe throughout the day and race goers feasted on Prego rolls, boerie rolls, Thai cuisine, Indian curries and Italian gelato, whilst listening to music from all over the world. Kids had an absolute ball whilst everyone looked longingly at the incredible exhibition of Ferrari’s and Maserati’s on display – it was look, don’t touch though!
