It’s that time of the year again, where we look forward to the Bloodstock South Africa National Yearling Sale where we have 12 stunners this year that will be available to view in block C at the TBA Complex in Germiston from 10th April.
With the National Yearling Sale taking place over 18th and 19th of April this year, we thought to give keen buyers a glimpse into what they can expect from Avontuur Thoroughbred Farm.
Starting off our group lots is Lot 6, OVERTURE (Oratorio x Valeta).
OVERTURE is our last Oratorio to ever be sold, and a beautiful colt to end this bloodline with.
This colt hails from our prolific female line of Sarabande. He is a half brother to a current feature horse Triple Time and from the family of Master Archie.
OVERTURE is a good looking colt, with a very correct and strong in build just like his sire.
Buyers can expect yearlings by Gimmethegreenlight, What A Winter, One World, Futura and more.
With One World being freshman sire piquing great interest for the upcoming sale, of our 12 lots on offer to interested buyers, we are looking forward to bring to the pool two very promising One World fillies.
The first one is Lot 32, EDUCATOR, from the solid honest Wise Dame female line, and the second one is Lot 53, LANTERI, out of the Gr 1 winner Bambina Stripes.
