With Summer now officially here, we’re waking up to warmer weather, with the first three live music evenings for the Tasting Room terrace, now confirmed.
Start off on Friday, 9 October with Idols winner Anke, who will be entertaining the crowds with some old favourites as well as newly recorded songs. On Friday, 6 November, Blair Taberer takes the stage and will thrill fans with his acoustic rock and stage presence. The last event for this year, is on Friday, 4 December when local muso Jesse Jordan shows why he’s equally good as a solo artist!
A new addition to the festivities is the Ishushu Pizza Truck where guests are welcome to purchase some yummy gourmet pizza’s to enjoy with their Avontuur wines, for sale from the tasting room.
The well-known Avontuur Estate Restaurant is open as usual on a Friday night, and if you prefer something a little bit more upmarket, book a table and enjoy excellent food from the a la carte menu, whilst listening to the music, either from the Restaurant Terrace, or from inside, if preferred.
In keeping with the farm’s easy-going vibe, there is no cover charge for this series, but bookings are essential to ensure seating, especially if you want to enjoy the evening together as a group.
