We’re going all-out green and gold on Monday, 24 September at Avontuur when everyone is invited to join us for a gourmet boerie roll (made with added class by the Avontuur Restaurant team), paired with a generous glass of SA’s “own” red wine, Pinotage for only R50 per person!
Over and above this fun offer, we’re doing it a bit differently with a “friendship table” set up hopefully outside if the weather is kind to us on this public holiday(informally also named Braai Day by locals). “This means that you can pop in any time from 11h00-15h00 on that day, order the special from the waitrons and park off at any spot alongside our table – no bookings needed!” says Zunia and Melanie, owners of the restaurant. “By the way, the normal restaurant a-la-carte menu continues as always – this is just over and above our normally great food”, they say.
In the tasting room, in keeping with the month’s local is lekker theme, the Pinotage 2008 is on special at R390 for 6 bottles (usually R552), so stock up for the last few cool days right away.
