With the grape harvest moving along swiftly at the moment after a slightly later start than in 2016, our winemaker Jan van Rooyen and his team are working at top speed to ensure the grapes are brought in safely and in great condition.

“We finished off the white varietals on Friday with Viognier , and all the Pinotage is in the cellar as well. The Pinot Noir is safely brought in with the Minelli selection already in barrel, said Jan. “Overall the harvest is excellent with healthy grapes and good volumes in spite of the drought.”
