Avontuur Estate will be showcasing its charms, from wine to food to equine stars, during the 10 days of the 2015 Stellenbosch Wine Festival. From 24/1-1/2 our tasting room will offer a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay speciality tasting featuring four of our wines making full use of these important varietals. Cost: R30 pp. No reservations required.
Caption: Visitors can enjoy a range of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay based wines like our much loved Methode Cap Classique, the Pinot Noir/Chardonay, the Minelli Pinot Noir Reserve or the Luna de Miel Chardonnay Reserve.
On 27 and 29 January from 09h30-12h00 a maximum of 20 visitors per day can join in a guided walk around the vineyards, paddocks and cellar area, ending off with a wine tasting and a yummy platter for two. Cost: R200 pp.
Wednesday evening, the 28th sees us enjoying ourselves on the terrace in front of the winery overlooking False Bay and the paddocks with live music by James Saunders and a gourmet picnic basket with a bottle of MCC to share. Cost: R300 pp.
