The “Early Bird Dinner” concept is growing in popularity at Avontuur Wine Estate’s Restaurant, overlooking the Helderberg and False Bay, next to the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West.
“Over and above the fact that it is a seriously good dinner in a stunning venue, the price of R115 for two courses or R135 for three courses,” makes it a win all round says Zunia Boucher-Myers, one of the chef patrons of the popular restaurant on the picturesque wine farm.
Courses are selected from the usual menu and are served in normal portions, so patrons never feel short-changed! “The only thing you have to remember is that orders must be in between 17h00 and 18h30 – after which we continue with our usual a la carte evening menu – and the Early Bird deal is a set menu!” says Zunia.
The menu’s are posted on the Avontuur Restaurant’s face book page 24 hours before, but just arriving to a pleasant surprise is also recommended.
