Courageous win for Oratorio’s daughter

Orator’s Daughter, by Avontuur’s highly rated sire Oratorio, ran a spectacular race yesterday at Turffontein in wet, soggy conditions to win the Gr3 R250 000 Acacia Handicap over a mile.  Trained by Alec Laird and ridden brilliantly by Anton Marcus, the 4yo grey showed great courage in coming from behind to take the win!

Congratulations to owners Markus and Ingrid Jooste and we look foward to more excitement from this stakes winner, who’s only been beaten twice in six starts.
