Although the feedback from the Sale on Wednesday indicate that the tough economy is hampering some of the available spend, we can only once again thank all our loyal supporters for their belief in us and their loyalty to the Farm.
Delta Queen (Var x River Jetez) was our star performer and this gorgeous and incredibly well-bred filly went for our top price of R2 million to Dean Kannemeyer and his clients. “We wish them everything of the best with this horse and look forward to seeing more of her when they are ready to let her compete,” says Pippa Mickleburg, Avontuur Estate GM.
All our horses were sold and now it’s time to look into the future and start preparing for the important National Yearling Sale in Gauteng in April.
