As we gear up toward the Cape Racing Sales Cape Premier Yearling Sale, taking place on 25th January 2024 at the CTICC in Cape Town, Stud Manager Pippa has a few comments on the lots lined up for the looming auction.
Lot 5, Dreamworld (One Wolrd ex Dream De Ra)
A very robust speedy looking son of the champion race horse and exciting first season sire, One World.
The colt is from the famous Val De Ra mare line, he oozes class, power and athleticism.
Lot 20, Glastonbury (Rafeef ex Gimme London)
A first foal of a young mare from the potent Secret Pact female line.
Beautiful, high class filly by he proven Rafeef – a real Queen.
Lot 24, I’m Gorgeous (Hawwaam ex Hannah Gorgeous)
An elegant, attractive filly from the fist crop of the exciting Hawwaam.
Strong female line of leading sire, Futura.
Lot 34, Town Crier (William Longsword ex Kitco)
Workman-like colt by a prolific sire of winners in William Longsword.
The colt is a half brother to Listed Winner Pray For Rain, and Stakes Placed On The Double, as well as the female line of current champion, Princess Calla.
Lot 102, Nightrain (Rafeef ex Varikate)
The full brother to Gr1 winner, Thunderstruck.
A very special, robust, good-boned colt by Rafeef.
Dam was a Stake Winner of 5, and has produced a Gr1 winner, and two other multiple winners.
This is an imposing sort.
Lot 131, Zalatoris (Erik The Red ex Charisma)
A colt from the first crop of Eric The Red.
Dam has two exciting runners currently and there could be major updates soon.
A racy, well topped colt.
