With the 2013 Cape Premier Yearling Sale now behind us, we are pleased to report the sale of 10 of the 11 yearlings at an average price of just over R660 000!
The leading sellers were: Vincente at R1.1 million to Vaughan Marshall for his loyal patron Ken Truter and 2 lovely horses, Mastermind and Varachino for around R2 million to Angus Gold of Shadwell SA for trainer Mike de Kock. Cold as Ice at R875 000 went to trainer Joey Ramsden for a group of owners including Brian Finch and Wayne Kieswetter and Off the Mark was sold to trainer Sean Tarry for owner Chris van Niekerk. Rock me VAR went to trainer Mike Azzie for Adrian van Vuuren and Sir VAR to Denis Drier for a group of Australian owners at R550 000.
