Winemaker Jan van Rooyen has chosen a Quartet of Cabs to tantelise all red wine lovers for this month’s tutored tasting which takes place on Thursday evening at 18h30 -20h00 in the restaurant at the Estate.
Although Cabernet Sauvignon is the main emphasis on the night, on arrival guests will get a glass of bubbly as a welcome drink, then taste the 4 Cabernet based wines ie Vintner’s Red Cab/Shiraz, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv and then the Baccarat, our flagship red. End off with a snifter of our 10 year old pot-stilled brandy and you’re set for the night. The price of R75 pp includes a light meal and the tasting as described above.
