Son of VAR, Variety Club is SA’s best miler at the moment and is looking to keep that crown on his brave head in the L’Ormerins Queens Plate on Saturday at Kenilworth race course in Cape Town. Although he has a horrible draw at 15 out of 15, he is ridden by master jockey Anton Marcus who’s done so much with him before, and we at Avontuur obviously believe that his champion’s heart will not let him down in this fantastic event!
This will be a race to remember with most of South Africa’s top performers participating – we can’t wait!
