move around more with travel restrictions easing and seeing our beloved tourists visit again. Autumn in the Cape is a favourite season for many and the warm days with cool still evenings has continued somewhat in this start of winter. Truly a special and opportune time to be in the Cape and make the most of its beauty and flavours and smells too now that mask mandates are dropped.
Here’s a little recap of Avontuur’s 2022 so far:
Visitors from all over, local and foreign, graced our luxurious Manor House accommodation;
We were able to make memorable occasions by hosting some fantastic weddings in our new venue;
Completion of a 123kW solar PV plant on our roofs;
Launch of Avontuur’s own honey;
Another fantastic art exhibition with an Equus theme;
And a fun and informative wine and dinner evening in conjunction with our neighbours, Eikendal and Hidden Valley.
