Winemaker Jan van Rooyen and the tasting room team have had a ball getting together a set of weird and wonderful options to use as “wine glasses” at the July Tutored Tasting session on Saturday, 15 July from 11h00-12h30.
“The idea is that we all taste wine together and then decide which containers work, which don’t and why,” says Jan when explaining the concept.
Guests will taste a few wines with Jan at this intimate event, and will experience everything about wine containers from plastic to glass and clear to dark and large to small.
